Mackinac Island -

Mackinac Island is the jewel of Northern Michigan. Over 80% of the island is a state park. Mackinac Island sits on the very western part of Lake Huron in the Straits of Mackinac between Michigan’s upper and lower peninsulas. The Island is rich in history and transports you in time with such iconic places as the Grand Hotel and Fort Mackinac. It is, of course also famous for its fudge!
